1 Killed In Fiery N.J. Car Crash; Man Couldn't Be Pulled From Flames: Cops

The driver, whom authorities are not yet identifying, could not be extracted from the 2005 Saturn Ion until firefighters extinguished the blaze after 7 p.m. on Wednesday. The car was extensively damaged and the tree it struck also caught fire, according to The Daily Journal.

The sedan crossed the center of the two-lane road, onto the edge of a front lawn at 422 Hogbin Road, and continued into a stand of trees. The car struck a moderately thick tree at the edge of the road. Long skid marks were left on the road.
