Man Dies When The Car He's In Crashes Into Bucket Loader
A 24-year-old man was killed when the BMW he was in crashed into a bucket loader that was parked in the middle of Market Street in Paterson Wednesday night, authorities said.
A car containing four men was driving on Market Street at about 9:15 p.m., when its driver crashed into a front-end bucket loader that was parked in the middle of the street, but was marked with traffic barrels and had room to go around it on either side. A 24-year-old man who was the front seat passenger was killed, and both he and the driver were trapped in the vehicle until freed by responders. The driver and two backseat passengers were all taken to the hospital with serious injuries but are expected to survive. We will update this accident with more information as it becomes available.
