Roselle woman struck by car crossing Linden street

A 43-year-old Roselle woman was struck by a car on Tuesday evening while crossing near the 1600 block of East St. George Avenue, police said.
A 43-year-old Roselle woman was hit by a car on Tuesday evening while attempting to cross East St. George Avenue. The car stayed at the scene until officers arrived. The incident is reported to have happened around 9 p.m. and the woman suffered lacerations to her face and head trauma. She was transported to the University Hospital in Newark and the accident is under investigation.
