Hank Hayes, 36, is charged with assault by auto and driving while under the influence of alcohol, State Police Sgt. Gregory Williams said. He was not arrested because he was hospitalized after the crash, Williams said.
The 7:38 p.m. crash also injured the driver and passenger riding in the second vehicle. Williams said they were also taken to Inspira Medical Center in Vineland and had minor injuries.
