A Sussex man was seriously injured Tuesday when a pickup truck crossed the double-yellow line and crashed head-on into his vehicle, police said.

Kimberling was not injured and was issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to keep right and failure to maintain lane.
Thomas Perry was driving south on Sparta Avenue when a pickup, driven by Michael Kimberling, 62, veered into his lane and struck him head on. Perry suffered serious head and internal injuries and was taken to a medical center in Morristown for treaatment. Kimberling was not injured in the crash. Both people were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. The accident is still under investigation.
