According to investigators, the car entered the median and rolled over several times before coming to rest in the northbound lanes.
An accident Friday night around 8:00 on I-25 south of Belen at mile marker 178 closed both north and southbound lanes while New Mexico State Police investigated. Reports show that a vehicle driven by Yolanda Filerio of Bloomfield was driving southbound on I-25 when she lost control, and the vehicle rolled several times, ejecting Filerio. She was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
