State Road 22 shut down near mile post 5 due to major crash
Five of the victims were riding motorcycles and the other four were in the SUV.
Two people are in critical condition at this time. The condition of the others involved is unknown.

According to the sheriff’s office, a car was speeding when they crossed into oncoming traffic. The car over-corrected and rolled.
All four occupants were ejected, one person was killed.

O’Quinn over-corrected and the vehicle flipped several times. All five occupants of her vehicle were ejected, Elder said. Five motorcyclists were also injured, including at least one who had his or her leg amputated and is in the Intensive Care Unit at a local hospital.
Victims identified in fatal crash on state highway
The victim that died on scene was identified as the driver’s daughter, 15-year-old Nicole O'Quinn. The other passengers include 15-year-old Jacob Menchaca, 16-year-old Mario Menchaca, and Sammy Varela.
