Air Force: 3 killed in New Mexico crash of military plane

Three service members were killed after a single-engine reconnaissance and surveillance plane crashed in eastern New Mexico during a training flight, the Air Force said.

The aircrew members of the crashed U-28A aircraft from Cannon Air Force Base have been identified.

Folks are invited to attend the vigil on Monday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m. in front of the Curry County Courthouse at 7th Street and Main Street in Clovis, New Mexico.

Air Force officials say deadly plane crash caused by "human factors"

The report does not indicate which airman was controlling the plane, but does note that the aircraft, valued at $18.3 million, did not have any mechanical malfunctions.
