Pedestrian dies in hit-and-run in Santa Fe
Santa Fe medics were the first to respond to calls of a man lying unconscious on the street just after 7 p.m. and later pronounced him dead. Officers found a piece of a grill from a Jeep Cherokee and a trail of engine fluid and determined the car was traveling south on Guadalupe
Police identify driver in fatal hit-and-run
The driver, Raymond Solano-Saenz, either 19 or 20 years old, remains under investigation and has not been charged with a crime, police said.
Police also released the name of the pedestrian who was killed. Manuel Gonzales, who was in his 60s, lived in Tesuque, police said.
