Driver hospitalized after barrel roll on I-88

The Broome County Sheriff's Office Highway Patrol division is investigating a one car roll over crash that occurred Friday morning on Interstate 88.

Sheriff: Castle Creek woman’s car rolled six times

A 62-year-old Castle Creek woman had minor injuries following a one-car rollover at about 11:25 a.m. Friday on I-88 in the Town of Colesville, according to the Broome County Sheriff’s Office.

Michelle Heath was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox on Interstate 88 eastbound around 11:25 a.m. when she lost control of the vehicle on the slippery, icy road. Her car entered a barrel roll and crashed, trapping her inside until firefighters arrived to extricate her. She was taken to Wilson Hospital for a medical evaluation. This accident is still under investigation.
