Kolby Geffers, 17, killed when his car leaves road, strikes tree.

A Bolivar teen was killed Friday afternoon when his car left County Rote 5 in the Town of Genesee and struck a tree, state police reported. Kolby Geffers, 17, was traveling west on County Route 5 about 3:30 p.m. when his vehicle left the road off the north shoulder and struck a tree. Geffers was pronounced dead by the Allegany County Coroner. Portville and Clarksville Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
