Brighton Police searching for driver in deadly hit and run

Police are asking people with homes or businesses on Highland Avenue between Thackery Road and Clover Street to check any security recordings they have and contact the police with information.

In a release Thursday, Brighton Police Chief David Catholdi says witnesses came forward to help police find the car, which wound up being in the city of Rochester. Catholdi says the damage on the front end of the car was consistent with hitting a pedestrian.
