Marcy Barnett, 44, seriously injured, airlifted to hospital, after a single-car crash on Saunders Settlement Road in Cambria.

A 44-year-old woman suffered head injuries when the vehicle she was driving went off Saunders Settlement Road and rolled about 12:30 p.m. today. Marcy Barnett, of Kosciusko, Mississippi, was traveling west in the 4700 block of Saunders Settlement Road/Route 31 when she went off the road and hit a culvert pipe, causing her vehicle to overturn. Barnett told deputies she lost consciousness and deputies believe she may have fallen asleep or suffered some type of medical condition, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Department. Mercy Flight took her to Erie County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The road was closed for about an hour and a half, reopening before 2 p.m.
