Erin D. Stroud, 34, rolls her car while allegedly drinking, texting on West Lake Road in Wyoming County, New York

Erin D. Stroud, 34, of North Main Street, was driving south when the one-vehicle crash happened, the Wyoming County Sheriff'€™s Office said. Stroud registered a blood-alcohol content above .18, or more than twice the legal limit, the Sheriff'€™s Office said. CASTILE '€“ A Silver Springs woman who police believe was texting while driving and had open containers of beer in her vehicle rolled the vehicle on West Lake Road on Wednesday. Stroud was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated, operating a vehicle while using a portable electronic device, moving from a lane unsafely, consuming alcohol in a vehicle and refusal to submit to a breath test. The vehicle left the roadway, drove into a ditch and then rolled over, coming to rest on its roof.
