Man, 34, Killed in Downtown Brooklyn Hit-Run: NYPD

A 34-year-old man was struck and killed in in a hit-and-run accident Monday evening in downtown Brooklyn. Latchman Singh, of Queens, was crossing the street in a crosswalk at DeKalb and Flatbush avenues a little before 8 p.m. when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle. He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The vehicle left the scene after hitting Singh. Police are asking the public for any information on the vehicle and its driver.
