Ambulette Crashes in Queens, 2 Hurt: FDNY

An ambulette crashed into into a car and then a fence near a hospital in Queens Thursday night, the FDNY says. The ambulette van lost control near Main Street and Booth Memorial Avenue in Flushing at about 9 p.m., according to FDNY. The van hit a car, then crashed into a fence near New York Hospital. A driver and a passenger were taken to the nearby New York Hospital with minor injuries. No charges have been filed.
