We're All Gonna Miss u Steve Preitz I Can't Believe You're gone you were Definitely Characterwho made a lot off people smile and those times we'll Never forget. Im so sorry to the Preitz Family you're All in my thoughts and prayers

I'm so sorry to hear this. Steve and my son were best friends. He lived with us for awhile and was like one of my children. He had a hard life but a good life. This is so sad. :(

Steve we are going to miss you you were a funny classmate and like a third brother to me. you had really funny ways of doing things and that's what we liked about you rest in peace.

He was a major part of my teenage years into adult hood I've learned many things from him and had many wonderful and not so wonderful experiences. He was always there. My heart goes out to his family and friends that I know he has had the same impact on as he had on me.

I can't stop thinking about all the bike adventures we've had, all the times you fixed bikes for me. To be labeled as homeless man on the news sickens me. You were a true outdoorsman & conservationist, so humble & one of the most intelligent guys I've known down the drain . Ride in Peace

Mr. Preitz was riding on the left side on the service road. NOT THE RIGHT... If you are on the south side of the service road you can only head east and from the pictures of the car Mr. Chizzoniti was driving you can see the windsheild on the drivers side is smashed in. So Mr. Preitz was riding on the left side of the road and there is no shoulder on that side. He did not deserve to die and my condolences go to his family.

I saw that to and i totaly agree mr. Or mrs. Get the facts straight and the car also looks like the bike is under it a lil steven preitz was an honest, kind, soul and there should be consequences weather u meant it or not its not right. That sickens Me

I'm so saddened to hear of Steve's untimely passing, he was like a brother to me growing up in Shirley. I will never forget the times in Maine flying styrofoam planes with glow sticks carved into them at the pier in Bayside. RIP brother

I agree their should be consequences. I can't believe this guy didn't see Steve. Unless his headlights were off.
