Elderly New Hartford woman dies in head-on crash on Route 49
State Police say the crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Town of Floyd when Dorothy Battelene's Chevrolet Equinox drove into the eastbound lane on Route 49 and collided with a Ford pickup truck.
