DA Fitzpatrick on fired investigator charged in hit-and-run: 'What a betrayal'

The DA said he fired Rauch even before the ex-investigator was arrested on a felony leaving the scene charge. Fitzpatrick said Rauch was let go because he never reported the crash to his superiors at the DA's office.
