Deputies name Pennsylvania man killed in crash on Grindstone Island
Deputies said the victim, a summer resident of the island in the town of Clayton, was hit around 12:30 a.m. on Cross Island Road by a pickup truck driven by Shannon A. McEwen, 38, of Kingston. Ms. McEwen was charged with second-degree vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.

Deputies did not report MacEwen's blood alcohol content. She was arraigned in Brownville Town Court Sunday and is being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $250,000 cash bail.
