Police said 28-year-old Christopher Getman was trapped under heavy equipment. He died at the scene.

Family seeking help for man killed in Air Brake accident

The family of Christopher Getman has set up a fund for his children at the Watertown Savings Bank. To make a donation, contact the bank and say it’s for the Chris Getman Children’s Memorial Fund.
Watertown Police have released the identity of the man killed in an accident at New York Air Brake. A number of departments were called to the facility on Starbuck Avenue a little after two Monday afternoon. Police said 28-year-old Christopher Getman was trapped under heavy equipment. He died at the scene. Getman worked for P and M Construction, which had been contracted to do work at the plant. OSHA is now working with police and both companies to investigate. In a statement, New York Air Brake's president said: "New York Air Brake is deeply saddened by the death this afternoon of an employee of a service provider company working in our Watertown facility. Our most sincere sympathies go out to the victim’s family."
