Lora Holman, 54, killed, and two children injured in car crash at Dan Rhyne Road at Cat Square Road in Lincoln County, North Carolina

Troopers with the NC Highway Patrol say 54-year-old Lora Holman died in a crash in Lincoln County Thursday morning. The crash happened on Dan Rhyne Road at Cat Square Road in Lincoln County. School leaders say the grandchildren went to Northbrook Elementary School and West Lincoln Middle. So far the investigation shows Holman was taking her three grandkids to school when, investigators say, she pulled out into traffic. He told WBTV that he saw the grandmother and tried to feel for a pulse, but it was too late.
