One killed, another injured in Iredell Co. crash

According to investigators, 17-year-old Briana Martinez was killed in the crash, another person was also injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. People on scene say Martinez was a student at South Iredell High School. "It really opens your eyes and shows you that you should be grateful," said friend and classmate Jacob Oliphant.  "Tell even, as much as tell your mom and dad that you love them as soon as you leave the house in the morning because you never know when you'll be able to see them again."

At least one person was killed in a crash in Iredell County Tuesday morning, officials say. Officials have not said exactly what caused the crash or how many people were involved. No names have been released.
