1 person seriously injured in I-485 crash
Just after 5:30 p.m., Charlotte Fire responded to a crash with possibly serious injuries at mile marker 10 in the southbound lanes of 485 near the interchange with I-85. Charlotte Fire officials confirmed that at least one person was pinned inside their vehicle after colliding with a tractor-trailer. That person was taken to CMC via ambulance with life-threatening injuries, according to Medic.
