Christopher Morgan, 45, and Sherry McDowell, 39, killed in single-vehicle motorcycle crash off of Highway 8 in Davidson County, North Carolina

Two people died in a motorcycle accident in Davidson County on Saturday evening on Highway 8. The crash occurred when the driver lost control on a curve and slid off the road. The passenger was identified as Sherry McDowell, 39, and the driver was identified as Christopher Morgan, 45, both of Lexington. McDowell was pronounced deceased at the crash site, and Morgan died later at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
