Driver killed , car split in two after fiery, high-speed crash on I-26 E

Sheriff Van Duncan said that about 10:30 p.m. a deputy observed a small, silver car going nearly 100 mph down I-26 E, and almost losing control through the construction site near the I-40 interchange.

 

Hendersonville man killed in wreck on Brevard Road after chase

Ketih Daryl Cambry, of Hendersonville, was traveling south on N.C. 191 after he exited Interstate 26 East, according to the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office. A deputy encountered Cambry when he passed him in a construction zone on I-26 at 10:29 p.m. When the deputy attempted to pull Cambry over, he fled.
