Child hurt in car-bus crash in Buncombe County

According to the patrol, the driver of the car was going too fast on a curve, went off Barnardsville Highway and then crossed the center line and into the path of the bus.

A woman who was driving a car that was involved in a wreck that killed her 1-year-old daughter has been charged with driving while impaired and reckless driving.
A mini-bus carrying students to an after-school class collided with a car which was going too fast. The speeding car went off Barnardsville Highway, crossed the center line into the opposite lane and collided with the oncoming mini-bus. The car's driver, a passenger and a one-year-old child were hurt and brought to Mission Hospital. The student passengers of the bus were unhurt, but the bus driver suffered minor injuries. The accident happened on Wednesday in Asheville, North Carolina.
