Victim identified in Durham Co. plane crash
It's unclear what caused the plane to go down. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Bureau are investigating.

Michael John Ratty, of Chapel Hill, died Tuesday afternoon when a small plane crashed in northern Durham County. The Beechcraft Travel Air 95, which took off on a runway at Falls Lake, crashed around 12:25 p.m. near Bahama. Another unidentified person was injured in the crash and taken to a local hospital.
