WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — A driver is dead and two passengers were injured in a single-vehicle wreck that occurred early Sunday morning in Wake County. Around 2:40 a.m., troopers responded to the scene of a single-vehicle collision involving a fatality on Interstate-40 eastbound at mile marker 309.
