One dead in two-car wreck on I-40 in Johnston County
21-year-old Chance Mizzle was traveling westbound when his right tire lost tread, and he lost control of the car. The car overturned several times crossing the median into the eastbound lane striking another vehicle. Mizzel was killed in the accident. The passenger, 20-year-old David Hines, suffered from serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
