7-year-old boy killed in Franklin County hit-and-run
Ronnie Tanner Vick, 7, of Youngsville died at the scene, officials said.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the scene, which was near Rolesville, about three miles southeast of Youngsville.
Angie Deel, who lives near where the incident occurred, told CBS North Carolina that Vick was able to slip out of his house and his mother and other neighbors were searching for him when he was hit by Field’s vehicle.

She’s now also charged with felony death by motor vehicle and felony hit-and-run, the Franklin County Magistrate’s Office confirmed.
