Bus, semi trucks collide causing injuries near Kindred

 A crash involving a Kindred School District bus and at least three semi trucks near here Friday morning caused some injuries. At least four ambulances were still on scene as of 10 p.m., roughly an hour after the crash happened. It isn't immediately clear if any students had been injured, or how badly. The bus was empty as of 10 p.m. Authorities were working to remove the drivers from the trucks, which were damaged. The front end of the bus was also damaged.

Kindred school bus driver has legs amputated after crash

 The driver of a school bus that collided with three semitrailers in dense fog at an intersection near Kindred has had both of her legs amputated. None of the 32 students aboard the bus was seriously injured in the Friday morning crash. An account also has been set up at Kindred State Bank to help with Jostad's medical expenses. Doctors at a Fargo hospital amputated both of her legs to save her life.

Bus driver hurt in crash with semitrailers near Kindred dies

The driver of a school bus involved in a crash with three semitrailers in dense fog at an intersection near Kindred a week ago has died. Fargo's Boulger Funeral Home confirmed to The Associated Press that Cathy Jostad died early Friday and said funeral arrangements were pending. Jostad had both of her legs amputated after the crash Sept. 25.
