Police are investigating a crash in S. Fairmount.

Police were sent to the 1900 block of Harrison Avenue around 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said three 19-year-olds were speeding up Harrison Hill when the driver lost control.

The vehicle then hit a curb and went into the path of a USPS truck on the opposite side of the road.

According to police, the back-seat passenger, Terry Feagin III, had to be cut out of the vehicle and was taken to UC Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He is listed in critical but stable condition.

The driver, Willie Monghan, and the other passenger, Ricky Patterson, were not injured.

White Street and Harrison Avenue were closed for several hours as crews worked to clear the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
