Woman hit, killed after stopping to help drivers involved in crash

According to the Warren County Sheriff's Office, the woman stopped and got out of her car to assist the drivers of two vehicles that crashed on Butler Warren Road near Heritage Club Drive around 10:16 p.m.

Good Samaritan killed as she helped accident victims

Deputies have not named the driver who caused the second crash. They're still investigating to see if he'll face charges.

A funeral service will be held at the Savannah Center, 5533 Chappell Crossing Blvd. in West Chester on Sunday, May 20, at 12 p.m.

Charges filed against driver who hit, killed good Samaritan

Witnesses said Campbell, who is a CPR instructor, was leaning into a car to help one of the crash victims when she was struck by Cowdrey’s vehicle.
