Crash injures motorcyclist in Fairfield; helicopter responds to scene
Fairfield fire and police departments are responding to a motorcycle crash with the rider reportedly suffering major trauma.
The crash occurred around 5:19 p.m. at the corner of Pleasant and Doris Jane avenues. Scanner traffic indicated the motorcyclist was on the ground and not moving.
A medical helicopter was requested and landed near the site at 5:41 p.m.
