Driver involved in fatal crash remains hospitalized

Investigators with the Franklin County sheriff’s office said Nanna, of Lancaster in Fairfield County, was driving west on Rt. 33 when his car crossed the median and struck an eastbound pickup truck driven by Joseph H. Mangan, 63, of Canal Winchester. 

63-Year-Old Man Killed In Crash On U.S. 33 East

The roadway reopened just before 11 p.m. Monday night. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. 
Joseph H. Mangan was driving his pickup truck on Route 33 when a vehicle driven by Omatseye Nanna crossed the median and struck the pickup head-on. Mangan died at the scene, and Nanna was hospitalized in good condition at a local medical center. Check back for updates.
