Donald Fleckinger, 83, killed in a three-vehicle crash on State Route 125 in Pierce Township, Ohio

A three-vehicle crash occured around 7:40 a.m. Monday on State Route 125 near Bach Buxton Road. Donald Fleckinger, 83, of Amelia, attempted to turn left into a driveway and was hit by a vehicle driven by Jason Benken, 37, of Cincinnati. Fleckinger’s vehicle then rotated and hit a car driven by Amanda Campbell, 32, of Amelia. Fleckinger was flown to UC Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Benken was tranported to the hospital for minor injuries and Campbell was not transported. Alcohol and speed are not suspected as factors in the crash.
