Police officer injured, taken to hospital after car crash on way to work in Stark County

Steria has been with the Jackson Township Police Department for more than 20 years.

Patrolman Dan Steria, a Jackson Township police officer was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment after a car crash on his way to work. The accident happened at about 6 a.m. on Monday along Fulton Road in between Governors and Foxchase. Steria was a mile away from the police station in his personal vehicle when he sideswiped a telephone pole. His car rolled over before landing in a ditch. No other vehicles were involved.
