One dead, one seriously injured in Brunswick Hills crash

BRUNSWICK HILLS, Ohio -- One man died and another was seriously injured when a car hit a tree early Wednesday in Brunswick Hills. Wheeler was northbound on West 130th Street when he lost control of his 2011 Kia Optima. Driver Ryan Wheeler, 23, of Medina, died in the crash that happened about 2:15 a.m. on West 130th Street near Sleepy Hollow Road, according to the State Highway Patrol's Medina Post. Hinckley Township paramedics took his passenger, a 22-year-old Medina man, to Brunswick Family Health Center. The car went off the left side of the road and hit a tree, the Highway Patrol said.
