Another Cleveland school bus was involved in a minor accident Friday morning, the second accident involving a bus in two days.

Another Cleveland school bus was involved in a minor accident Friday morning, the second accident involving a bus in two days.

Cleveland Police dispatchers said a Cleveland Metropolitan City School District bus was carrying one child near West 69th Street and Dennison Avenue at 8:43 a.m. when a driver rear-ended the bus.

Paramedics responded to the scene, but there were no reported injuries, dispatchers said.

Veteran Iditarod musher Karin Hendrickson was struck and injured Tuesday night by a driver who left the roadway and crashed into her dog team near Willow, Alaska. Hendrickson was running her team along the Parks Highway when they were struck at about 8 p.m., breaking her back and leg. One of her dogs is missing following the accident.

A motorcyclist who lost control of his vehicle as he was entering Interstate 690 was seriously injured late Thursday night.

The crash occurred near the Bear Street on-ramp at around 11:55 p.m., police said.

A 38-year-old male, later identified as Richard Warren, was driving a 2001 Suzuki when he struck a guide rail on the entrance ramp and was ejected from the vehicle.

He was transported to Upstate University Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash. No tickets have been issued.

Two Virginia drivers were charged with DUI after their vehicles crashed near Tall Cedars Parkway and Loudoun County Parkway Wednesday morning.

Loudoun County police heard the crash around 2 a.m. Wednesday. They located the first vehicle traveling north on Loudoun County Parkway with damage to the front, and charged the driver, 41-year-old Karin J. Keswani of Aldie, Va., with DUI, police said.

Police posted a lookout for the second vehicle and located Michael R. Johnson, 34, of Stone Ridge, Va., who was charged with DUI and hit-and-run.

Watertown Police have released the identity of the man killed in an accident at New York Air Brake.

A number of departments were called to the facility on Starbuck Avenue a little after two Monday afternoon.

Police said 28-year-old Christopher Getman was trapped under heavy equipment. He died at the scene.

Getman worked for P and M Construction, which had been contracted to do work at the plant.

OSHA is now working with police and both companies to investigate.

Two people were killed in a crash on Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 81 near Carlisle, Cumberland County.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. near mile marker 47. Police say 26-year-old Shane Myers of Carlisle was driving an SUV southbound on I-81 and crossed over into the median and crashed into a tractor trailer in the northbound lane. The crash killed Myers and the 42-year-old tractor trailer driver, Kevin Carr of Williamstown, Nj.

Police say both drivers died of traumatic injuries and were pronounced dead on the scene.
