The Mansfield Highway Patrol Post was investigating a fatal crash outside Shelby Saturday night.
The fatal collision occurred around 8:00 p.m. on State Route 13 and State Route 603, when a Ford F-150 ran a stop sign and collided with a Pontiac G6 driven by Karl Kinstle, 72, of Greenwich. Kinstle was pronounced deceased at the crash site. His passenger was airlifted to Akron City Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Ford, along with a 46-year-old female passenger and a 3-year-old boy, were transported to Ohio Health Med Central in Mansfield with non-life threatening injuries.
