Branden L. Woodford, 20, and Eric Welsh III, 24, both killed after colliding with oncoming pickup truck on U.S. 224 near Mogadore, OH

At around 8:00am, Woodford was driving west on U.S. 224 in Suffield Township, when he crossed the center line of the highway and collided with an oncoming pickup truck driven by Michael Luli, 47. Neither Woodford nor his passenger Welsh were wearing seat belts, and both were killed in the accident. Both Luli and his passenger Eric Blake, 29, were wearing seat belts and Luli sustained minor injuries while Blake was not hurt. The cause of this crash remains under investigation; check back for updates.
