Driver dies after semi rolls over, catches fire on Ohio Turnpike in Streetsboro
Officials closed the eastbound lanes of the highway past Ohio 8 following the crash. The left lane reopened about 7 a.m.
At about 3 a.m. on the Ohio Turnpike in the eastbound lanes near the exit to Interstate 480, a semi drifted off the right side of the road, overturned, and caught fire. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. It's unclear what caused the semi to drift, and his identity has not yet been made public. We'll update this post as more information becomes available.
