Witnesses from behind the ambulance say the vehicle was driving erratically for a couple of miles, leading officials to believe the EMS driver may have suffered a medical condition.

Gockstetter said his wife was following the ambulance and unfortunately, saw the crash. Other witnesses reported the ambulance was driving erratically for a few miles.
