A man is in critical condition and police are searching for a driver of an SUV that allegedly hit the victim and fled the scene.

Police confirm Herman was lying on the road at the time of the accident and therefore the driver may not have seen him. But neighbors heard a vehicle speeding off leaving them to believe the person behind the wheel knew someone had been hit.

Police are searching for a driver of a grey or silver SUV that allegedly hit the victim and fled the scene. The victim was taken to Mt. Carmel West Hospital in critical condition.
