Police ID victim, driver in fatal hit-and-run crash on Far East Side

Police said that crash was not weather-related.
A man who died on Sunday in a hit-and-run collision on Gender Road near Bennell Drive, has been identified as Craig Daniels. Daniels was in a stopped car in a traffic lane on Gender Road about 2:30 a.m., when his car was hit by a car driven by Mohamed Kamara, 29. Daniels was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Kamara fled from the scene but was arrested shortly after.
