Sharon Feikert, 73, of Waynesfield, Ohio, drove her 2008 Honda Fit east on Middle Pike Road around 1:30 pm. when she went off the left side of the roadway. The tree fell over and landed on an unoccupied vehicle parked in a private drive.

An elderly woman was killed in a crash Sunday afternoon after she overturns her car after she veered off the roadway into a cornfield and struck a tree. Feikert, who was wearing her seat belt, was taken to Lima Memorial Hospital, where she died.
