There was a large dent on the hood of the van and the bicycle was mangled, police said.

One person is dead and another injured after they were hit by a man driving a van Wednesday evening in Oklahoma City. The two people were riding on the same bicycle when they were struck. The second person was taken to a hospital. The names of the victims and the condition of the second person hasn't been released. Police closed part of Southwest 44th Street after the crash.
