Oklahoma City police officer injured in collision
The names of the officer and the woman were not immediately released.
A woman suspected of being under the influence of alcohol was arrested late Friday after her car smashed into the back of an Oklahoma City police car at a traffic stop. Soon before 11 p.m., an officer from the Santa Fe Division was conducting a traffic stop in the 5400 block of S Sooner Road when the woman hit the back end by a car. The officer was taken to the hospital for his injuries. The driver of the car, identified only as an adult female, was arrested on a DUI complaint and taken to Oklahoma County jail.
