Broken Bow man killed Saturday morning in McCurtain County crash

Perez wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, troopers reported.
A young man man is dead following a car accident early Saturday morning near Broken Bow, Oklahoma. The young man, identified as Juan Perez, 18, was heading eastbound on Old Broken Bow Highway at close to 12:30 Saturday morning. His pickup truck veered off the eastbound side of the road, ran into a ditch, and rolled over into a tree. Perez, of Broken Bow, was trapped in his truck for 45 minutes before the fire department extracated him from his vehicle. Perez died at the site of the accident, where he was found to have not been wearing a seatbelt.
